Bespoke Tailor in Bangkok — Custom Suits & Shirts at Platinum Mall

We draft your pattern from scratch, cut it by hand, and build every jacket on a floating canvas. When it's done, your pattern stays on file — so the next suit fits the same way, whether you're in Bangkok or ordering from abroad.

Why Dolvini Bespoke
What "Bespoke" Means Here
In Bangkok you'll hear "bespoke" used for a lot of different things. Here it means one specific thing: we draft a paper pattern from your measurements, for you alone, and we cut the cloth to that pattern by hand. Nothing is adjusted from an existing garment.
Then we build the jacket on a floating canvas — a layer of horsehair and wool between the cloth and the lining, hand-stitched, not glued. It costs more and takes longer. It's also the reason a good jacket still hangs properly after ten years.
We draft your pattern from scratch
Your paper pattern stays with us under your name. If you order again from London or Sydney, we cut from a fit we've already proved on your body.
We cut and sew it here
Our workshop is behind the shop. If you want to see the cutting table, ask — we'll show you.
You come back for real fittings
Usually two, sometimes three, on the actual garment. Alterations are free until it fits.
01
Handmade Construction
Hand-padded lapels, hand-felled linings, hand-set sleeves. Machines help; hands finish.
02
Italian & English Cloth
Super 100s to Super 150s wool, working with mills including Dormeuil, alongside classic English worsteds.
03
One-on-One Fitting
A private consultation, not a queue. We talk about how you actually live in a suit before we cut a single thread.
04
Original Pattern Drafting
Your pattern, kept on file. Every future order starts from a fit we've already proven on you.
05
Horn and Mother-of-Pearl Buttons
Horn or mother-of-pearl buttons, hand-cut lapels, monogramming — the small decisions that separate bespoke from "made-to-measure."
06
Perfect Fit Guarantee
Free alterations until the fit is right. We'd rather adjust a seam twice than send you home in a suit you don't love.
07
48-Hour Option for Travellers
Express options from 12–48 hours for premium and luxury packages, built for people who fly home in a few days.
08
Worldwide Shipping
Clients in the USA, UK, Europe, Australia and across Asia order remotely and we ship with UPS, DHL and FedEx.

How a Bespoke process Order Works, Step by Step

A Refined Four-Step Process Trusted by Clients Searching for the Best Bespoke Tailor in Bangkok

Sit down with us — about 45 minutes

We talk about where you'll wear the suit, pull cloth from the wall so you can feel the weight. Bangkok is hot — we usually recommend 220–280 GSM for everyday wear. No deposit until you've decided on a cloth.

Measurements and pattern

We take 17 measurements standing and sitting, and we note your posture. One shoulder is almost always lower. These go onto a paper pattern cut for you, which we keep on file under your name.

Cradtsmanship

The jacket is assembled in stages. The canvas — horsehair ,is hand-padded into the chest and lapels by hand, not fused. This is the part that takes longer and costs more. It's also why a bespoke jacket still drapes properly after ten years.

Hand-stitching the canvas into a jacket front

Final fitting and collection

You come in wearing the jacket on its lining. We check the fall of the chest, the break of the lapels, the sleeve length. Anything that needs adjustment gets chalked and done within a day. When it hangs the way it should, it's yours.

A bespoke two-piece starts at 4,500 THB. The fabric is what changes the price. Entry-level English and Italian wool suits sit around 6,000–9,000 THB. Premium and luxury fabrics go higher. Every price includes your paper pattern, all fittings, and free alterations until the suit fits. View Pricing.

Our normal pace is two to three weeks, which gives us time for two or three fittings. If you're only in Bangkok for a few days, we can complete a suit in 48 hours — two fittings, same construction, fewer fabric options. Tell us your travel dates when you book.

Usually two. The first fitting is in a basted jacket, where we can see how the cloth falls and make adjustments. The second is on the finished garment. If shoulders or posture need more work, we add a third fitting at no extra charge.

Bespoke means we draft a new paper pattern for your body from scratch and cut the cloth to it. Made-to-measure starts from an existing block and adjusts it. The practical difference is fit — especially across the shoulders, chest, and posture — and the canvas construction inside the jacket.

Yes. We cover central Bangkok including Sukhumvit, Silom, Riverside, and Siam. We bring cloth books and a measuring kit to your room or the lobby. Message Sagar on WhatsApp with your hotel name and we'll arrange a time.

Yes, via DHL, FedEx, and UPS. Typically 5 business days to most destinations. Once your pattern is on file, you can reorder from anywhere without returning to Bangkok.

Walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are better — they give us time to prepare cloth books for your style and purpose, and you get the full consultation without waiting. Book on WhatsApp or through the website.

We stock English and Italian cloth year-round — wool, linen, cotton, cashmere blends, and tropical-weight fabrics suited to Bangkok's climate.

Yes. Wedding suits, two-piece and three-piece, as well as black-tie tuxedos and dinner jackets. We recommend booking at least three weeks before the event to allow for two fittings. Express turnaround is possible if time is tight — let us know your event date.
